We are looking for talented DataScientists to join our China Underwriting and Data analytics team. Workingalongside other team members to dig deep into automotive and telematics data,you help translate complex findings and results into innovative insurancesolutions.
In this role you will havetremendous exposure to “usage based insurance” and other innovative data driveninsurance models.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Architect, develop and automatebusiness intelligence and analytics solutions in link with insurance productsand telematics:
- Build key data sets/pipelines to empower operational andexploratory analysis
- Evaluate and define insurance scoring system metrics inlink with global and local underwriting
- Democratize data by building and socializing decisiontools (dashboards, reports) and User Interface
- Partner with underwriting and business teams to “tell thestory” behind the data
- Ensure activation of theproject results by working with business on timeline and detail plans
07 任职要求
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Educational qualifications in Computer Science,Engineering, Statistics or similar quantitative background from awell-recognized institution. MSc/PhD preferred.
- At least 3 years of direct hands-on experience in DataScience and/or Big Data.
- Proficient in at least two programing language such asPython, R, Scala, C++, SAS, Java, Ruby, MATLAB
- Hands-on expertise working with common DBMS (SQL, NoSQL),as well as large scale data analytics framework such as Hadoop, Spark orTensorflow
- Strong knowledge of statistical data analysis and machinelearning techniques (e.g. SVM, regression, classification, clustering, timeseries, deep learning)
- Experience building dashboard / visualizations end-to-end(including visualization and data pipeline)
- Speaks fluent Chinese andproficient English

- 掌握C,C++,java,python等至少一种语言，并能熟练使用，理解常用设计模式；
- 良好的英语阅读和沟通能力；
- 数学建模竞赛获奖者优先；
- 在相关领域主流期刊发表过论文优先；
- 熟悉数学规划优化器CPLEX、Gurobi等优先；
- 有相关工作经验优先。
